Luxsport is please to present this very exciting and rare 2009 Radical SR3 RS racecar. These cars are street legal in Europe and are built by hand in the UK by Radical Sports Cars. Radical has become an envied name in weekend sports car driving and racing amongst enthusiasts. Weighing in at less than 1300 lbs, the 1500 cc 4 cylinder powertech engine mated to a six speed paddle shifting system can push this car to 60 mph in 3 seconds and achieve top speeds of 155 mph. Driving in a straight line however, is not the purpose of this car. Radical has developed numerous street legal racecars over the years, their SR8 LM racecar which is based off of the SR3 achieved a lap time of 6:48 on the Nurburgring, a time which cannot be matched by the likes of a Porsche 918, Ferrari La Ferrari, or a Mclaren P1. The downforce produced by the Le Mans style prototype body work and full underfloor diffuser will leave you glued to the pavement during high speed cornering.
This Radical was driven very little by the current owner, driving it 4-5 days a year on a private members-only racetrack. The engine was recently refreshed last year and has only been run a total of 6 hours. The chassis has approximately 65 hours logged. Rear axle was replaced last year. Front and rear rotors have been replaced recently. All scheduled maintenance has been done on time or earlier.
