Appropriate upgrades were made. Tasty bits from Sector 111 (aka InoKinetic) include a beautifully crafted welded aluminum baffled oil pan; lightweight brake rotors that reduce unsprung weight by 2 lbs per wheel; and Pagid-blue brake pads. Other Sector 111 bits are listed.

The first owner purchased the car new from Jacksonville-Lotus in June-2007. Service was performed at his local Lotus dealer. The dealer installed a stage-2 Larini exhaust. According to spec, this adds 4 hp to the stock 220 hp engine. The engine breathes better, is slightly louder than stock, and adds pleasant crackles and pops off-throttle.
I am the 2nd owner from Sep-2008, odometer at 5,712, adding just 8,000 miles over the next 11 years.
Maintenance included essential interval oil & filter changes. Early on on I learned how to self change the oil & filter. The routine is specific due to the hand-built nature of the chassis and the complete enclosure of the underside with aluminum aero panels. Included instructions on how to do this correctly and safely. Optimal oil and filter specifications are noted (supplies conveniently available at Autozone, though on-line order may be required).
Interstate battery installed 4/2019.
There was one Lotus factory recall, oil cooler lines replaced. My local Lotus dealer performed the fix on 8/28/2013.
On four occasions I have driven the car at BMW club sponsored track events (HPDE). If you havent driven a Lotus Exige S on the track you havent experienced authentic driving. Nor really experienced this Lotus. I am a senior who naturally and always drives cautiously. At my track events I was relegated yet happy to drive in the lowest novice class. I was not embarrassed, I learned to watch my mirrors and wave-through drivers from behind. This car is direct, connected, powerful and smooth. Many cars have more total power. None are lighter. None equal the driver connectedness of an Exige S.
I am selling because I do not drive this car very much. Recent annual mileage has been nominal. I have other cars and therefore distracted.
This Exige S is in excellent original condition with a few discreet and desirable upgrades. I am looking for a respectful next owner/steward.
